Emma has been working on designing a new web-page that will go live in January after requests to modernise it from our user survey
 No delays, every day



We are getting a high number of literature searches coming in and are turning them around within the requested time
We listen, we learn, we lead





Hannah and Raymond have just began teaching sessions at The Hive for nursing students enhancement days working with The University of Worcester
Work together, celebrate together

The library service is offering to write Santa letters and to donate any voluntary contribution to charity. So far we have received over 100 requests and will be sending out letters soon

Look out for more details as it is launched   No delays, every day We have new stock across all three sites and on display on our “New Books” shelving. We listen, we learn, we lead A member of staff currently undertaking a CPD Level 6 course recently contacted the library, asking for help with completing one of her assignments. In response, our Clinical Librarian asked for her to share with him details of her assignment brief. He then compiled a list of library stock/resources that might be of relevance in addressing different aspects of her assignment (e.g. ‘applications of research in practice’). April 2020 Do what we say we will do All sites have remained open and services available to all staff   No delays, every day We post a Covid-19 bulletin twice a week that goes out with Communication updates that highlight key areas of the latest research in Covid-19 We listen, we learn, we lead We have supported the wellbeing shops across WRH and ALX ensuring donations from the public reach staff Work together, celebrate together We are also working with Learning & Development team designing their future intranet presence

May 2020 Do what we say we will do “I think the library staff are often unseen heroes J ” Head of HR   No delays, every day We continue to help on the HR absence reporting line We listen, we learn, we lead We are looking at purchasing self-service machines to ensure staff can borrow books 24/7 Work together, celebrate together “A really helpful member of your team, Raymond, whom I have never seen before and I understand is normally is at KTC, rebooted/reset (or something to that effect) my card and I changed my password and hey presto it worked.  He deserves some praise for his cool calm and the extremely efficient way he solved this long standing problem.
